Can you take a driving test with no shoes on? Do you need to wear shoes when driving? I’m fairly confident in saying you don’t HAVE to wear them - so long as you’re in control of your vehicle, the Highway Code doesn’t specifically mention what you MUST wear, just that “Clothing and footwear do not prevent you using the controls in the correct manner” Please comment if you have ever taken a driving test bare foot, or if you have tried to, but wasn’t allowed?
