The worst of the storm parked directly over my neighborhood in Central Davis for nearly 20 minutes, see those deep reds and purples on radar. Watch how it explosively developed over West Davis, then stalled. Maximum rainfall totals were concentrated right over my neighborhood.

Certainly not the main story today with severe weather but there is a pressing safety issue in the storm chasing community. Previously known for this wreck during one of the March chasers, “Razorback Storm Chasers” had one of their members pull a sword and attempt to run down folks over an argument at the Twister Wakita event recently. Twister the Movie Museum is asking for footage of the incident. Stay safe out there and be on the lookout out for Matthew Ropp and associates.
